Welcome to 188 Oddworld Street in Rivendell, FortuneCity. I hoped you noticed on the way in that this is not an ordinary home, but the castle of the Knights of New Jersey. Now, who are these so called Knights? Well thats a good question, so you just sit back and I'll tell you the tale...
The Myth
In ancient Camelot, there were many breeds of Knights. None however, could match the performance of a group known as the Jersey Knights. They were famed all across the land, even challenging the fame of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table! Sir Lancelot and a few others feared that the Jersey Knights might outdo them, so they gathered a party of those loyal to King Arthur and took them out to challenge the Jersey Knights. They marched throughout the night and all the next day until finally they came to the forest that the Jersey Knights called their home. They sent in the stealthiest men they had, and killed the leader of the Jersey Knights, the great Sorcerer Sheratin Dragonfire in his sleep. When the Jersey Knights awoke the next morning, there was much distress. In the midst of the Chaos, Sir Lancelot led a full scale attack on the Jersey Knights. Many a brave soul were lost in the following battle, and Sir Lancelot himself was hit by an arrow from the Jersey Knights. Those that were left of the Jersey Knights fled deep into the forest, and Sir Lancelot and the Warparty went back in an aura of victory, though a much smaller group. Over the years, the Jersey Knights were almost totally forgotten. But deep in the forest, the remainder of the Knights peiced together what was left of there once mighty Guild, and found a new leader in the young Magahed Dragonfire, Sheratin's son. As his powers grew, the people living near the forest began to feel something stirring in the forest. Finally after the years of humiliation and defeat, the Jersey Knights came out of hiding. But they were no longer the Jersey Knights, those were a thing of the past. This New Generation became, The Knights of New Jersey.
Well, now that you know our story from back in Camelot, why don't I give you a little tour of our home. Right this way please...
